Agree.....by the time you found one out of a yard and shipped (oversized) it, you will probably be at the cost of a new one from a local shop. NEW is better than well used usually
 
I don't trust 35-year-old drivetrain parts. As far as driveshafts go, weights get knocked off, welds crack, rust, whatever, anything can go wrong. Get a new one made for not much more and know it is stronger, balanced and will last.
 
Too long, IIRC. He needs a DS in the 45" range and that one should be about 49"

I also have the one from that 67 Convertible that was a 727, with the 8 3/4 rear. That one is 45.5 from end to end, and about 44.25" center to center on the U joints. Same price! 8)
 
i found a guy with a big supply of mopar drive shafts near me after doing some searching. Thanks for the help, I think having one built is the only way.
