My 71 Demon is an original bench seat car, as such it the holes for the bench in the floor, I am installing factory buckets seats, and my floor doesn't have the holes for buckets in it..

Were the floors different from bench to bucket seat cars? there is only bracing for the bench seat holes none for the buckets.. HELP - pics would be great as well Thanks guys!

Same floor

There are dimples where the bucket tracks would bolt through.. Support plates for the inside tracks as well.

Here's a pic of the location for the bucket seat holes...

Factory floor with bucket seat reinforcement plates. The bench seat mounting holes were filled with rubber plugs.

I cut some round pieces and welded my holes closed. Wish I had seen this earlier though, I welded inner support plates on the underside. But then again, not much on my car is factory that I should worry about the seat supports.
