Early hinges are not slotted for hood adjustment . 72 and later are slotted. I have several of both styles.

WOW thanks guys they are for my 71 scamp I really only need the dr side the pass is perfect . I just had the hood redone and the hinges rebuilt and the dr side still flexes and wants to kiss the fender. I guess at one point in its life it probably got bent . Mine have the hole in frt and back slotted up/dn. Mine looked straight and were tight but the dr buckles under pressure. Can anybody confirm if the hinge worked good before it came off the car.
