I'm not an authority on them, but I believe you're right, cudascott; probably the 1973s and later. Fits into the slot in the bumper, if I recall correctly.

Yea I'm not real certain but I'm old enough to remember that most cars with the 5 mph bumpers had that slot. I'm sure someone knows for sure

And there should be a date code on the jack as well.

My '72 has the slots in the bumper as well, hope I bought the right jack for it.

Found "PATENT 316392" and "5J03" stamped into the stand/the part the rachet rides upon, if that helps.
