Ok guys, i need to know what you did as far as your proportional valve after the disc conversion. My car is a 70 dart and i put 73' discs up front.

I have what is believed to be a 73-76 A body prop valve. when i place it up on the frame, none of the lines match up , as far as size and rear/ front ports . It really looks like i have to make all new brake lines .

Is this what you guys had to do---or how did you route everything ?

I used an adjustable prop valve and rear wheel cylinders from an '80 truck. Works like a charm

I replaced all the lines on my Cuda when I did my swap with new ones so I ordered ones for a car with discs and they all fit. I can see where the originals wouldn't fit right though as the valves are quite different. Inside the valves work quite differently. The disc valve is much more than a proportioning valve. It's actually called a combination valve because it has multi functions. In fact it dosen't do any proportioning at all so "proportioning valve" is a misnomer. The line going into the top is for the front brakes and it has a delay valve in the circuit to slow the action of the faster acting discs so they apply at the same rate as the rear drums otherwise the car will nosedive. It is also has a residual pressure valve for the rear drums to hold a little pressure on them so they apply faster. Even though the older valve works all in all the newer valve gives somewhat better braking action.
