[WANTED] a body ramrod

I recently scored a ramrod for a A body. now that I am back on earth I could use a little help from you guys. I cannot justify 500 bux for a nos boot. what are the alternatives? modify another type of boot? What have any of you done? pics? appreciate all the help..

I think the above posts are wondering - what is it you have? what are you calling a ramrod?

alright...I can see how this can get out of hand. I have a vertical gate shifter..

Depends what vertigate you have
my custom boot made from leather and grandmas underwear elastic ;-) with some sewing involved (get into boy scouts or military )

I just recently posted photos somewhere and deleted the photos from my phone so will have to dig.
The hurst ramrod shifter has the reverse lever beside the main shift lever.
The Mr gasket vertigate has the reverse to the side and back towards the seats.

The Mr gasket version is the original and then Mr gasket bought hurst and threw the hurst ramrod into the equation
