I'm looking at putting a 8.75 in place of the 7.25 in my /6 Dart. IM assuming I will find one out of an a-body so the width will be right. What is the largest tire you guys are fitting underneath without tubbing or moving the springs in? Right now it looks like a 255, maybe a 265 may be it.

I run a 275/60 in my Duster but they have bigger wheel wells than the Darts.

yes with a 255 x60 x15 will fit without rubbing when cornering. maybe 275 x 50s.

From my measuring a 255-60-15 should just fit with out moving anything. 4.5" backspacing is correct. If you use offset hangers then you want a 5 to 5.25" back spacing.

Yes, Its real tight in there. Right now I have a 215-70-14 on the back of my car. To get it off I need to jack the car up, put jack stands under the frame and let the rear hang down.

You should really pull the rear tires and measure for your self though. Some guys cant fit anything bigger then a 235-60-15 on the rear.
