And all Commando motors came with single exhaust also. chrysler probaly could have got another 15 HP out of the motor with true duals. It sounds like what really hurt it was not enough cubes to make the torque.

4 speed, 3.23 power lock.
It was 2.5 pipe with 2 straight through mufflers in series. The lack of torque is greatly exaggerated. They were fast enough to take anything near it's cu in and embarrass bigger engines.
