a/c brackets and hoses

I have a 89 d250 318 and i have 2000 ram van 5.9 and a 2003 dakota slt 4.7 so i took out the 5.9 and put it in the dakota and this model came with 5.9 but the ac lines are diff and the comp is diff in the van but the bracket is the same so i have an edy air on it for an la 360 and had to trim off a corner of the bracket to clear thermostat it's all working but i have another dakota 88 3.9 tbi that i am putting a mag in so my question is does anyone know if the 89 318 brackets hold the 2003 style comp ?? I hope that came out right if u have questions no prob i'll try to get you answer u need

Short answer is "no".

Two completely different mounting schemes, not to mention one is V-belt and the other is serpentine drive.

You should be able to get some line adapters, but I can't for the life of me remember where to get them. You could also get a local place that makes AC hoses to put the ends you need on both ends.
