Talking with Vintage Air; They say not to use the factory LS type compressor (it's a variable displacement) and to use a Sanden type (fixed displacement). I'm cool with that but need to know where to find a bracket for the conversion or is there a Sanden unit that is a direct replacement?

so is this on a chev LS engine?
Youre post says gen 3 hemi in the header .
If it is a hemi , they arent variable displacement like the LS engines are

I'm planning to use my 6.1L compressor and it's not variable rate. I was told just get the lines and such and have at it.

From what I understand You just need the fittings they get them another shop I cannot remember the name they sell hemi swap parts. I live 15 minutes from vintage air and am trying to get my car in there so they can make up a factory replacement unit and not a universal.

Those adapters are nothing special . Any air con shop should be able to get them . Just ask for a number 8 and 10 pad to o-ring fitting adaptor

how about ac in a car that never had ac to begin with? with a gen3 hemi swap with motor plates.
