Looking to put 17's on my 71 Barracuda project car. Want a good overall handling tire that doesn't break the bank.

What do you all recommend????

You want inexpensive to tear around on this spring/summer/fall above 40 degrees-ish?

Sumitomo HTR Z-III

On the same side of the coin; Look up on tire rack reviews; I recommend looking at the Dirzzea Z2 Star spec. As well as the current line-up of the extreme performance summer tires. Don't just look at price, look at longevity as well.

:D

Here is a cool write-up a couple years ago that may be helpful.

Yes, a three season tire is what I am looking for.

Pirelli P Zero Rosso should be under 4 a tire, you should be able to get then in a 255

Yep, the Sumo FTW. Of course they ain't the best ever, but they will blow Radial T/A out of the water and are priced for fun.. Take a look around Google, people speak highly of them!
