4 speed shifter from a dodge full size van. is it? i have never seen 1. from the way it looks, the shifter knob would be pointed towards the dash. can the 2 brackets be taken off and it used as a reg 4 speed shifter? it has all the shifter rods. tia.

It has the truck/van bracket on it, so yeah, it probably is.

I remember having driven vans with manuals, and yes - the knob / lever did point toward the dash. Even the Mini-vans did as well.

Shifters in a van point more forward....so that could be one, I’m not positive but “vanners” would know

Yes it's from a full size "B" van I bought a complete a833od package a while ago to use some of it in my 56 pick up, the shifter rods are too short for anything else though, and yes it points forward, I've driven a few of them, my buddy actually had a shorty with a 340, it was fun to drive!
