It's been a good long weekend so far. I got the VERY crusty driveshaft stripped down and painted (with a black widow twist

), got the front end done in satin black, polished up the rocker moldings and extra set of door sill plates I found in my pile of parts. Sorry, no pics of the sill plates and moldings yet but they ain't that pretty anyways. They were pretty banged up in places so I pounded them out as best as I could.

Oh ya, the 318/904 combo sitting under the work bench in very greasy condition right now.

I had a ton of places on the floor that needed plugs and didn't have a clue as to where to find them so I made my own.

I had to add a little more black widow influence on the trunk plugs.

That's starting to look really good, Red. I like that black, it looks sharp.

I'm assuming that the engine will be Chrysler small block red?

That's funny you posted this, Redneck. Last weekend I took solvent and some 3M pads to clean up my driveshaft before painting it. Turned out so nice I decided just to leave it. My gut tells me I should be painting it for protection, but for now I'm leaving it.
