A518 pan questions

Will the deeper trans pan from a A518 , fit onto a 727 ? How much deeper is the A518 pan ?

Yes, aproximatley a inch, inch and an eigth.

thanks for the reply. After I posted my question. I went to rockauto/ to find that they both used the same gasket.

Don't bother trying to run the deeper A518 pan without an extension to keep the filter near the bottom. If you are trying for low budget, just get the Mopar Performance 727 deep pan that comes the correct extension. Personally, I prefer the aluminum TCI pan, but that's more expensive.
