Looking for an a518 transmission for a 360. I live in Washington state so somewhere closer would be good.

Don't you have any Pick-n-pull yards near you? The local Pick-n-pull here has dozens of those transmissions.

93-96 2 wire ones, what are they asking for them if you know?

what could one expect to pay for a 518 tranny. (whats fair)

Used in the Seattle area I have seen $300-$500 and for a rebuilt from $700-$1400. You can also get a whole van or truck from a auction for a few hundred unless there are 30 other guys that are bidding on it for the same reason. I found a van on a state run auction on ebay with a blown motor, trashed interior, crappy body and a starting bid of 100 bucks. When it ended it was at 1400. The tranny was the only thing that didn't have anything wrong with it.
