A833 identification

Found an A833 for sale but the guy doesn't know what it came out of. Looks like an A body trans to me. Anyone know for sure?

Looks like a pic I saw on craigslist, don't remember what are though. Tailshaft sure looks like an a-body, or maybe a truck.

Looks like an A body trans. Truck trans had a long tailshaft housing like a B body.

Got the trans today. It is a 64-65 A body unit. Not too bad for $200

Are all year A-body transmissions the same? I want to put an A-833 in my '64 Dart. I found one from a '70 for $300. Will it work?

Same length, but the 70 will have a slip yoke, the 64 may have the ball and trunion flange on the rear. As long as you have the proper driveshaft, either will work
