A904 stator....

in rebuild on the a904 for my car, found mild groves in the stator assy. on the pump housing.. does anyone know where t get reman or new units from? I have found pump assy. form Makco transmission parts. never heard of them. and only one I 've seen....its a1973 v8 a904....

I have one you can have if you want to come and get it.
It's in the 904 that came out of my car when I put the 42RH in it and you can have the whole transmission if you want it.
(Planet set going out in it but it drove fine so the pump and all the drums should be ok)
 
where are you at trailbeast? im in Tucson, but I have a family member that lived is apache junction may be able to con into picking it up for me, if your in the phoenix area...... let me know, thanks, know what year trans is from?

Not positive but seems like a pre 73 904 to me as it didn't have the part throttle kickdown on the valve body.
I'm in Prescott Valley a couple hundred north of you.
