have a 75 dart swinger - the 225 slant 6 will be completely rebuilt - a mild rebuild - increased compression and a nice cam - not radical - now the question - does the a904 need to be better off if the tranny is locked or unlock type - and i figure also to having to look into a proper torque converter - the rearend is the 7 1/4 floating axle with 2.76 gears - what does one think with this set up for a driver car - thanks to all helping me out - i am just a Carpenter

Well Mr. Carpenter, I don't think that you need any kind of a high stall from what I'm reading about your engine. The cam supplier will give you an idea of what they want for a converter stall. Are you going to change the rear axle ratio? 2.76 are highway gears, not performance gears, and if you are going to change the diff gears, don't even think about ordering/getting a high stall converter until you know what the rear diff ratio will be. All of your driveline components much match.
If and when you order your high stall, call T.C.S. a local lower mainland company. Steve is in charge of the converter shop and his number is 604-539-2386.

I look forward to seeing you and the car/boat at one of the local car shows.
The Mopar group out in Langley put on a great MOPAR show, so perhaps I'll see you there.
