[WANTED] accelerator pedal floor bracket 1962 Lancer/Valiant

(I posted this to general discussions for idea of other aftermarket parts, but if someone has a bracket...)

Bracket at the bottom of my '62 Lancer's gas pedal gave up the ghost. I need either a new bracket, or a new aftermarket pedal assembly with the floor bracket. Don't care which. Don't really care if the pedal is original or not. Anyone have a good solid floor bracket on a parts car? thanks!

I wonder if a pedal from a 63 to 65 valiant would fit I have a few on the cheap to sell, they need a home. any pictures of an original to compare to???

Yes, Slantsixdan believes they are the same. I already had a nice gent here on the forum sell me a bracket and it is on its way. If it works out, I'll close this. If I need another, I'll give you a yell!

slantsix dan knows his stuff I have never owned anything before 63 and I have some backup lamps for your car I think, new in boxdan may be able to identify them? I will look for them and let you know when I find them in next week or so
