Hi, I bought a spare Holley 1945 to take along on my upcoming winter road trip. Donor car was a 75 valiant. I’ve only done three carb rebuilds, never seen this before so not sure how to proceed. Would appreciate any help.

Was about to test the accelerator pump without check ball and weight and realized I have the weight stuck in there. Barely getting any flow. It looks like the rod is solid in there. I can’t even get it to wiggle. Any suggestions to get this thing out?

Compressed air from the other end...after soaking with WD-40 or similar. Block the end so you don't lose it when it flies out...

Thanks, I heated it with a propane torch and used air and it shot out. Will have to search for a new one, i cleaned it inside the carb and the weight itself and it gets stuck in there, like it’s expanded or something.
