Adding bracing to front end with fenderwell headers

I was wondering if anyone has found it necessary to brace up the front end because of the cutout fenderwells for headers. We Street/Striped a BB 68 Barracuda for years back in the 80s with no problems but I always thought we should have braced it. My car has a 8point cage and frame connectors and I replaced the support under the radiator with a tube kit I bought of a member on this site. I`m planing to make about 550hp with a 4speed

I never have, but I didn’t like cutting out the brace underneath that goes from the rocker to the frame rail.oh on my race car I ran a tube from the cage to the rail right behind the shock tower. Kim
