Adjustable rockers necessary??

If I'm lucky. LOL One thing. If you use the adjustable rockers, you will need the correct pushrods.
 
Good point-you also brought up, previously, the OP's machinist may be hot to trot about adjustables because the decks or heads (or both) are cut down...in which case, shorter pushrods may be needed anyway.
 
Once again, thanks for all the info offered. Yes I am sure that is why the machinist insisted on adjustable. It has been over a year since we finished the machine work and I had forgotten our discussion, your comments helped my memory. I will definitely use the 273's adjustable set with new adjusters. Thanks for all the help. Mopar to ya!
 
Don't forget about the pushrods. You need cup and ball not ball and ball like stock. The hydraulic pushrod is a different length, too so make sure you specify hydraulic when you order them.
