Wanna instal my new qa1 adjustable strut rod this week end
And would like to know your idea on what i plan to do

Like some people told me im suppose to remove
the lower control arm
To be able to remove the strut rod but what i wanna do
Is cut the old one in half so dont need to pull back the
control arm to release the strut rod

And i think i can instal the adjustable one if they are apart

Am I crazy or can it be don like I think

Sounds like a plan, hope the install works out as planned. How do you plan to set up the new ones?

will take mesurment of the old one and
for the moment will try to give the new one
the same lenght

I also have upper control arm to install
so for sure I will need an alignement

Please keep this updated. I just ordered QA1 tubular uppers and adjustable strut rods and would like to know as well for setting them up.

you know what

it cant be done
not enough room to be able to get the new one in place
I have to remove the lower control arm

I am pretty sure that will not work.
Take the torsion bars out and slide the control arms back.
