Hey guys can someone run me through the basics on tuning the air mixure screws on a carter avs 4426 carb on my 68 Cuda 383 4 speed. Also I think my carb has the curb screw too. I will be doing the timming at the same time. Thanks

Forgot to mention that the air mixure screws are filled with lead still. But there is one screw in the lower middle. Curb idle screw ( I think)

Anyone have the adjusting procedure for this carb? Thanks

adjust the small screws like you would a regular screw. but if it has to be 2 or more turn out you have the well known, lean idle jets. that are in the primary clusters. its the small brass tube. you will need the small drill bit set. the tube is necked down at the bottom the jet is small dia. on a pin vice. by hand. only drill it by .001' - ,002" hold it with the tube pointing down so the burrs dont go into the tube.
