Advice needed

Hello all... I'm a new guy to the site.
I have 71 Dart and need some help.
Need to replace my wiper relay switch.
Its an auto w/non-functioning air :-(
Any advice or diagrams would be appreciated.
Sort of at a loss trying to gain access.

Hey Erik, what exactly are you having problems with? I don't know if the 67 and 71 AC systems are the same...but on my 67 there are two screws that go through the bottom of the AC vents up into the dash. Remove those and you can take the vent portion off. From there you can reach up under the dash and pull the weird looking plug off of the wiper switch. Just be careful and work it off slowly if it seems stuck. Then you can either use a pair of snap ring pliers to take the nut off the front of the gauge cluster or there is a tool you can buy that will get it off without the risk of scratching your bezel.

Hey, thanks. Removing the AC ducts gave me the clearance needed to back out the radio to get at the wiper relay switch to the left of teh radio, but a what a tight fit! I'm now inspired to wire up my FM converter. Many, many thanks!
