When I was just a little guy, my mother bought a new 1972 Charger Se and I sure would like to track it down. I don't have a lot of memories of those days but I do remember the cars.. Uncle Bill had a 70 Hemi Superbird that was our family car while he was stationed in Korea, Uncle Charlie had a wild 70 340 4 speed Swinger and mom had that triple black 72 Charger SE. And let's not forget my grandfather.. I swear he had a Chrysler Imperial in his spare bedroom! We were a Mopar family for sure.

With recent memories, I thought it would be cool to track the old Charger down if possible. It was actually supposed to become mine someday but that's another story. Any ideas how or where to start? I fegure I'll be challenged with 1 of 3 options if it' found.. Outta my budget, too far gone or it's been scraped. But I gotta try!

Thanks

needle in a haystack

best bet would be to get some old pics of it (if available) from family and just find any 72 charger and try to clone the first one.

I am doing that with a 75 dart from my teen years. I liked the car but it got scrapped beyond my control, so now I have another one and I am building it like the first one.

I always wanted to find the ‘69 Dart I had when we first got married. It took 33 years but I finally found a near twin.
