Hi
Just in the process of reassembling my Demon. I bought a bunch of after market parts and well nothing fits.
Today I had to trim the sleeve for the front struts it was 3/8" to long and now I have to remove the bushings from the upper control arms trim the arms to fit than reinstall the bushing.
WTF has happened to the quality of the junk we buy today.
These are parts like Moog engery and so on.
Is this just me or is everything that is made today made off shore and is complete junk.
Just my rant.
But I just waste so much time

Rick

I fell for ya buddy. Went thru the same thing with the 'Cuda.

You would think that for the amount of $$$ we have to spend on
our Mopars that the parts should fit. We just gotta fix um and go on
I guess.

Better than no parts at all

Some of Moog's stuff is from the Red Square ...
Sad days , indeed .

Hell , I'd rather see the stuff be made in Mexico , South America , Iceland , whatever , than flippin' vaChina !

Seriously , as far as fitment goes , keep this in mind : our beloved "A" Bodies are , at a minimum , 35 years old !
My friends and I rebuilt the front suspension on my driver '72 Coronet a few months ago . Not a complete rebuild ; just ball joints , tie rod ends and UCA bushings .
There's always going to be some massaging involved .

I'm not looking forward to wrestling with those torsion bars and strut rods' bushings !!
