Anyone but the repop UCAs for the Abodies???? I'm going to need a pair for an early A body disk brake swap coming up in Sept., so I need to shop.

I don't need the fancy dancy tubulars....just stock.

Quality? price? fit/geometry? opinions?

thanks

Dr Diff sells an insert you can install in the larger spindle so you can use your original A arms.

The issue is ball joint strength. The ball joint can shear where the taper ends just before the ball. Ma Mopar increased the size of this ball joint to reduce the chance of failure.

Now, if driven like a grandma, straight lines, only to icecream shows on the skinny stock bias plys with 10" drum brakes....... That would not be an issue.

But if driven more aggressively with a larger tire footprint and a heavier sway bar (and more engine - - warmed over 360)....and the modern disk brakes; the chance for the smaller ball joint failure increases!

I'm thinking: https://www.performanceonline.com/1...-Body-Upper-Control-Arm-Kit-with-Ball-Joints/

If you don't want anything too fancy, I'd say go with Firm Feel or RMS. Hotchkis would overdue it for you. I'm not sure about the other brands.
