What is an adequate air cleaner size to feed a 440? Would a 14" X 3" be enough?

The formula i got from Fram is. cubic inch times rpm divided by 20839.
For me that was 426 x 6500 Div by 20839 = 132.8 " Sq. I have a 13x 10.5 x 1" flat filter on mine. And a hole cut in the hood 1 " larger to fit into the hood scoop.
