My son has a 78 Magnum w/360 iron intake and a 625 Street Demon. While Demon makes an air cleaner that fits (I have one on my 750 Street Demon equipped stroker) he was wanting to know who is using another brand that clears the choke assembly on that carb. He's got some unknown air cleaner on it (was on it, along with carb when he bought the car, its not a drop base) and it sits up too high and is rubbing on a hood brace. Thanks

Just use the demon air cleaner. They come in chrome and wrinkle black now.
I have the Demon air cleaner on my setup, yeah, no issues other than with the size of the filter element it uses. It is not a true 14" diameter. You can't fit a standard (or K&N if you wanted) 14x3 filter into the lid and base. The Demon cleaner that I have takes approx. a 13.75" x3 filter. I bought a K&N 14x3 and for it to fit had to cut it, remove a small section, and essentially bond it back together to yield 13.75" dia.
