Air Compressor Choice

-
You'd be in great shape, I'd have to think.

I got a cheesy Kobalt 30 gallon for my garage (only have 110 current). It's 5.3 scfm at 90psi (it goes to 155 though), and it does just great for my impact, air tools, cutoff wheel, grinder, etc.

It should be pointed out that now that I have a cordless impact gun, my air ratchets almost never get used, but I'm working on a 38 year old car so the air impact anf grinder are working pretty hard.

I don't port cylinder heads, or do lots of body work, so if you're into that stuff your mileage may vary.

I replaced a Craftsman oil-less compressor with this one. I will never have another oil-less compressor.

This thing is literally less than half as loud when its running as the Craftsman was. I wouldn't recommend an oil-less unit to anyone.
