Air conditioning with manual steering bracket.

So I found out that swapping the power steering to manual and retaining the ac presents a belt problem! I did a little research. supposedly there is a bracket that is somewhat rare for this setup. Instead of tracking one down I figured I would just make my own. This will require Dorman part number 419 - 616.I used 2 inch by 1 quarter inch flat stock. check out the picture hopefully it can help someone out to solve the problem that I had.

I made s little jig out of angle.

This is a bench to press from Harbor freight. It bent it really easily. I used a 1 foot piece to start. Bent it at 45° I held it up to the block and marked it by eye Lol then bent it 45 the opposite way. You need a spacer behind the pully so you have room for error. I used a plasma cutter to make the half moon slot for adjustment.
