alt failed tach quit fuel pump shut off.....

So me and my woman are cruising down mission blvd. All of a sudden. The. Tach. Quits.then the car stalls.no power at all.pop the hood the hood alt is rust colored. Out the front of it.anyway cheap really alt failed.so i got a cheap autozone alt lol cars running better than ever.....:banghead:

Do you not have a gauge or an idiot light on the vehicle?

I have an idiot in the vehicle yes....lol no the gauge has been bypassed.
