Alternater ??????????????????????????????????????

I need help! On the alternater there are 3 wires, red one is easy . But blue amd green, sitting in the drivers seat what side are they on,is blue on left or right. I'm working on a 71 Demon, just about ready to fire it up after installing a 340. I just want it to go smooth........... THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

On my car, sitting in the drivers seat the blue is on the left and green is on the right.

They are field wires. It really dosen't matter which way they are hooked on the two terminals.

I will second mullinax95, it doesn't make any difference which wire is attacted to which field terminal.
