Hope someone may have an idea on this.
I am installing a 5.7 Hemi (truck block) into my 68 Plymouth Valiant.
Going for the old school look so I have dumped the modern electronics and am using a distributor conversion kit from Arrow Racing. Which actually turns out to be a nice kit.
We are using Schumacher engine mounts so everything should fit. Unfortunately because I am going for the old school look the distributor kit has 'pushed' everything forward slightly and as a result the standard alternator will not fit. Does anyone know of a non standard and smaller alternator that will bolt to a 5.7 block? Appreciate any advice you may have.
