alternator question

does anyone know if this alternator will work on my 68 valiant?
it has 2 spade terminals on the back and my wiring harness on has 1. if it will work, any idea which terminal i use?

ground one speade and hook one spade to the field on your voltage regulator thats what i had to do on my 67 belvedere when i used a double pole alternator
 
the spades are fieldwires. i believe you just use a jumper. early alts used one field instead of two. search alternators on the forums.
 
no it dosent matter wich one you ground or wich one you hook to the field on your regulator
 
Most just put a small jumper to the case using the small threaded hole next to the field connector.
 
topo see if its working start the car and unhook the negative battery cabel you will know if it keeps running its fixed
