Hello Guys,

I have Recently Replaced my stock Park gear and Gov. Assembly with the Aluminum Park gear and collar / Spacer From A&A Trans. in my 904.

When I received the parts the Gov. Spacer had written on it from A&A "May need sanded" So i did sand it to clearance the Retaining ring.

Problem is I have done this twice Now and The Aluminum pieces seem to be expanding when the Tranny gets hot and " forces off" the retaining ring - This allows the Gov. Spacer and Park gear to move back Resulting in a 1 speed Forward and and reverse with no park 904.

The real question is how much clearance / Play do I need to provide between the Governor Eliminator collar and the Snap/Retaining Ring?? Obviously I need to allow for expansion on the so these would be cold specs..

Hopefully this weekend is the last time I need to take the tailshaft off to fix this..

Thanks for your help!

Greg
