I found a set of unused leaf spring for a good price - but they have aluminum bushings installed. I was thinking I would just replace them w/ poly or rubber, but wanted to know if these can be used on the street if I left them in.

They're going on a street car - should I ditch the aluminum bushings?

If you are planning to turn any corners while street driving than I would suggest changing them. Aluminum bushings won't allow the body to roll in relation to the springs therefore causing a super high rear roll stiffness that will lead to heavy over steer characteristics while turning. That is not a good thing. I Would not recommend aluminum bushings on anything but a dedicated drag car!!
