I finally got my new stereo wired up. I bought an extra pair of kick panels and mounted my speakers. I found out the hard way that there isn't much room behind those panels. I had to get longer screws and mount the speakers hanging out. It looks a little goofy. I plan on getting something to cover the back part of the speakers.

The radio was tricky to mount, also. There wasn't much room behind the dash. I used some old chestnut wood from my barn. It looks very amateurish, but nothing is welded in, so I can always redo it later.

I also washed and waxed the car. It was a gorgeous day here in PA.

If you take a look at pepboys or best buy or circuit city you can get some plastic trim rings or mounting rings to take u the space for those speakers. Very nice car BTW

they also make kick panels with molded in speakers mounts. i have some. they even came with speakers.
