I've been on FBBO for a while, and decided to post here as well.

1965 AMC Rambler Ambassador 990 Convertible
Car runs and drives great. It is a survivor. Doesn’t appear to have been repainted or had any body work done to it. Engine is quiet. It’s got a 327 big block with Holley carb. The car came factory with a Holley, but it has been replaced. Interior is very nice. It appears part of the front seat insert has been replaced, but it was done well enough , you can’t tell. I say this because of the extra vinyl that was in the trunk when I bought it and part of the seat looks cleaner. The power convertible top works but needs a new canvas. The radio does not work and I’ve never tried to see why. The air conditioning does not work either but everything is there. I’ve never driven the car without the top down, so I didn’t need it. It will need a battery. I can start the car off a battery charger and it runs great. Price reduced to $6000.

I'd love to keep it, but truth is I've owned it for over two years and have driven it less than five times for a hundred different reasons and have two kids who just got braces.

I like it!

Sure would look good with my 64 Ambassador.

PM sent.
