an odd thought on air scoop

i had a very odd thought about putting a hibourn style air scoop on a /6 sticking out the hood, but of course this would be off center towards the driver side. has anybody ever seen something as a functional scoop for a /6 or would this just look retarded? pics?

That wouldnt look stupid. It would be something cool to me. Im only 20 years old and have been to plenty of carshows and I think its a cool idea of opening a hood and seeing that kinda scoop on a /6. I like v8s but when I see one nowadays its like yeah w/e cool but when I see a hoped up/6 it really makes me think man thats cool as hell! So go for it. If you go to google type in Aussie speed products they have a pic with a intake with a hilbourn style scoop in the slant 6 intake manifolds area. Pentastar Parts has some cool hilbourn stuff to I think not to sure.

The Cox brothers had a Hilborn scoop sticking out off center on their Dart. Of course, they also had the injection system that went with it too.
