Just got a new set of American racing 624769 wheels for a 71 duster sbp drum brakes, are the lugnuts supposed to be the acorn style or have a shoulder on them? The tire man sold me an acorn style nut seemed to work on 3 of 4 one front wheel for whatever reason does not have any thread sticking through the wheel and the others not much! Also the other front wheel weight is hitting the a arm. it will clear if I take the weight off but it will be close.

Any easy fix for a stripped out lug nut hole in the front hub?

yes but the hub hole is worn out, the stock stud spins in it.

You could tack weld the stud to the rear of the hub to get you by for awhile....

found a doorman stud with a slightly bigger knurl, but still have issues. On the right side the wheel is rubbing the a arm on right hand turns, American racing #624769 14x7 with 4 inch backspacing from summit. cant even get the left side to rotate when I tighten the lugnuts, looking on the backside its not hitting anything, any ideas?

COuld it be welded up and re-drilled?

OR

Aren't the stock studs 7/16? Could you go to 1/2" screw in studs all around?
