I'm installing a 10pt cage into the 73 Duster and got the outriggers and main hoop tacked in place. The question(s) is.... How far back should I attach the rear legs? Should, I put them to the top of the frame rail, over the rear axle OR further back? The reason I ask is because the kit i have comes with an x-brace as well. Since it does......I was thinkin the x-brace should be attached to the top of the rear shock mounts and the rear "legs" attached further back say like midway in the trunk area. Can I get some comments, suggestions, advice??? I have the Nhra rule book... dosent say much about the rear "legs". Oh, and if any of you have a few trunk side pics that would be greatly appreciated. Seems not many people post trunk pictures..LOL

Should I ask and look stupid? Or not ask n be Stupid ..lol I better ask :thumblef:

Thanks 68gts340. I called chassis enginering Who made my cage. Basically, ya don't need the x - brace to pass tech.
