My condolenses to the family . This world is getting crazier every week . Sorry it happened so close .

Prayer sent out to all the family and friends...

What is making these kids shoot down there own family.. This is sad.

The lack of fear of harsh punishment for serious crime has made it a non big deal to thugs. Life has become a cheap throwaway in a lot of dirtbags minds. Getting really scary just to live your daily life anymore.

i saw that on the news. i lived in albuquerque for 9 years. its getting worse everywhere

Suspect has the same last name. I wonder if he is a realative to the family?

Murder is in all the big metropolitans, you can't even listen to the news anymore with out a big murder deal not happening. I am glad that I live in a city that is small enough that this seldomly happens. Most of the time a murder here is tied to domestic violence. We may see one murder a year and that is still too many.

This is a good reason to have a gun safe so your kids can't get to weapons. Schools need to be aloud to disapline kids like when I grew up. Kids have no respect anymore.

Murder is in all the big metropolitans,

And the smaller ones, too. I live in a smallish city of 30,000. Three blocks away, yesterday, they found a man shot in the back of the head sitting behind the steering wheel of his Honda in the local grocery store parking lot.

I'll be glad when I move back to the country.

I agree. What we end up with are people who place no value on human life.

Here is the follow up to this sad news. What was this kid on? I betting he was on some sort of anti depression medicine. They have got to get these drugs off the shelves.

I would not be surprised if you are correct.

Two things jump out at me here, one being the one you suggest and two, the fact the weapons were just in the closet. These two things are a very common denominator during tragic incidents like this.

Prayers to all affected.

I am at a loss for words.

Update: I followed the link on the story so I could read the police Probable cause statement.

One of the problems with today's society is that thugs and theives are considered heroes in almost every production coming out of Hollyweird. The media worship of ridiculously overpaid athlete punk thugs just compounds the issue.

The liberal mass media whines and bitches about non-ethical and anti-green big business practices while they happily market ultra-violent games and movies to children and stick thier heads up the *** of the football/basketball "thug of the day" and his ho girlfriend.

Our society has become sick and I really don't know what the cure is.
