Another USPS rant

My wife and I are both retired from the cesspool known as the USPS. One of her many jobs was to scan all the incoming/outgoing cages full of mail. Was not uncommon for the scanning system....which is the very same one that the Carriers use...to be down for 6-7 weeks at a time. They would "fix" it....4 days later it would crash again.

Glad you both survived. I have a friend who, 30 years ago, had to decide between the USPS and a job with a private firm (not shipping related). Went with the private firm. She's still there and has been in positions that usually require a college degree. Her bosses realized how sharp she is, and she's enjoyed her career. We occasionally discuss what could have been if she went USPS. Whew...
