i could just see me with the windows down in sunglasses cruisin the streets of lebanon =)

Any 80's rock works for me. But I am a huge Sammy Hagar fan so I really get "tuned up" when he is on.

I do have to admit though I was not a Mopar guy in the 80's I was from one of the other camps back then.

.38 Special, Mellencamp, the Police, even some Hall n Oates; but you can leave the INXS, the Guns n Roses and the "heavy Metal" ("Twisted Sister" etc) behind! I certainly do not miss that crap.

or these guys. pretty much any of metallicas stuff rocks the hell outa my speakers 98% of the time

I'm a little older than 18... Ok a lot older. My son is 19 and he digs the 80's stuff also. Cudos to you Mopardart72 for realizing that there is some wicked cool "older" music.

I have a nice CD player in the Demon, very good speakers and an Amp, I very seldom have it on, I guess the music I like most is the "potata" , "potata" "potata" at Idle and the sound of the 340 exhaling through the 2 1/2 in Flow Masters. But If I had to choose being in the Demon and all it would be Van Halen .... Running with the Devil.. :snakeman:

I gotta say the beginning of "Hot for Teacher" sounds like a lumpy cam if you jam it up loud. My brother use to pull into the auto mechanics shop in high school jamming it and shut it off right before the music kicked in. A full Sony Xplod system in his 75 duster. Yeah some kids actually thought it was the car.

Don't feel like fooling with youtube right now, but some suggestions off the top of my head:

U2, War (1983), The Joshua Tree (1987)
Queensryche, Operation: Mindcrime (1988), Empire (1990, close enough)
Any Rush album, but from the '80s: Permanent Waves (1980), Moving Pictures (1981), Signals (1982)
Deep Purple, Perfect Strangers (1984)

As far as Def Leppard goes, IMO they peaked with High 'n' Dry (1981)

80's?? Man you young whipper snappers and your music.... now the 70's, they had some REAL bands!!

Just messing around, I can get down to some 80's rock any time, maybe some Hot for Teacher, Round and Round, Photograph, maybe some Motley Crue, I'm kinda hit or miss on which songs I like, not particular bands.

o.o no one even mentioned AC/DC?::shock::I love listening to them.Metallica and Motorhead is cool too.:rock::supz::supz:

well AC/DC is more 70s aint they? late 70s anyways. but i am almost always blaring Metallica in my Dart, fav band of all time. some other songs more recently released form other bands are pretty good. one hellofa good cruisin song by Rob Zombie is two lane blacktop

If I was still a moderator I'd edit your racist post NOW. There's certain styles of music I don't like, but I'm not one to use blanket derogatory statements.

Don't forget that one of the greatest 80's heavy metal vocalist, Rob Halford, is gay. Any comment there?
:angry7:

does late 70's count? this is by far my favorite:

:rock:my favorite is cinderella, poison, ratt, warrant ,def leppard, acdc, metallica, and a few others from that era. they are always playing while i drive. then on other days i will work in the garage listening to hank williams or waylon jennings. just havent found much in the way of new stuff i like. back in 1990 when i was still in school me and a couple buddies drove an hour to see ac/dc in my buddies volare. i drove and kept the little slant six right to the floor on the highway for 60 miles and we never broke 78mph and that was going down hill. we found out later there was almost no oil in it. the good old days. 3 weeks ago i took the minivan to see cinderella but at least its a mopar.

Local classic rock station here has a self-ad that says "you went from using killer weed to using weed killer. But you still know how to rock!."
