any internal parts interchange 904 & 727

hi fellas, ive got an old 904 that i want to strip down and was wondering
if any of the parts interchange with a 727 . Ive heard the valve bodies might. anyone know?

Yeah the valve body does if it's from the same time era (lever vs. push button) although the older ones don't have part throttle downshift and the newer ones do. The parking pawl is different length though but that's easily changed. That's it for stuff that swaps between the 2.
