The last thing I want is to frustrate anyone here. I just thought why not narrow the rear for free instead of buying a new axle and bearing. I will buy a new axle to keep things cool here. That's why I posed this question is too get opinions. League City is between Galveston and Houston. 20 minutes either direction.

1. the forum is for help
2. it can point you to the right people
3. for a forum to work you need atleast say 12 hours of patience
4. im glad you did the smart thing and are getting a new axle

5. you don't just cut an end off and shorten it, it is far more involved than that, yes you can do it 19 wrong ways, but only 1 is right.
