Any tips on sport mirror disassembly/ re-assembly?

Need to take apart my sport mirrors, strip & paint, and re-assemble. Doesn't look like fun. Any tips would be appreciated!

First i suggest take a photo the cable assembly so u know exactly how it goes back together. i did mine last year. Be careful and patient. i seperated the 3 prong retainer by spreading it then was able to slide the glass and cable out as a unit.

Thanks, any idea how to take apart the passenger side mirror?

I think i left it together and masked off the glass. Tbh i dont remember
