it's kinda like buying a mopar crate motor from jegs you are paying premium money for something that should run ok. bigger cam than stock, low comp, cast crank and pistons. if you are gonna spend 10 grand on an engine, you should at least get one that you can't build with readily available parts from your garage. most of what they are selling now are strokers anyways. i hear good things about the r3 race blocks. never knew they were selling a 340 crate motor
